Sophia Galanidou

It all started on May Day 1998, when she came to life. From a young age, with an innate love for life,colors, flowers and aspirations towards the goal of doing her best to help the world become a better place.With the same motivation, several years later, she completed her studies at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Ioannina. Today, she is studying for a Master of Science in Medical Chemistry, at the University of Ioannina. In addition, her great love for volunteering has radically changed her life, with the Ioannina Science Festival satisfying her “thirst” to make science accessible to completely everyone and externalize its more “human” aspect. Last but not least, she believes that her loved ones, cats, kids and sunsets enlighten her life!
