Georgia Kalozoumi

Georgia studied Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Thessaly. She holds a master’s degree in Molecular Medicine, from the Faculty of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Georgia is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine, and her research project is titled “Molecular analysis of neurodegenerative diseases”. She participates frequently in scientific conferences to present her work, and she has published original research and review articles in international scientific journals. She joined the team of Athens Science Festival aiming to introduce Biological Sciences to everyday people.
