Ermioni Bakirtsi

Born in Edessa and raised in different cities, she wondered about the world and the way it was made from a young age. ‘How?’ and ‘why?’ are 2 questions that live in her mind about everything and she does not calm down until they are answered. Volunteering became part of her life in the 2nd year of her studies at the School of Computer Engineering, where she participated in i2fest, a festival full of amazing technological archievements and enthusiasm, with this first time being the beginning of her journey for the next 4 festivals, always with the same enthusiasm. The circumstances brought it that way so for 2 years, in paraller with her studies, she participated in a STEAM teaching program for children of all ages, thus completing her voluntary offer. She spends her free time full of art (mainly music, dance and drawing), while she always has, in the back of her mind, going to space.
