Dimitris is a Biochemistry and Biotechnology graduand at the University of Thessaly. His research thesis is on the field of Neurobiology and was conducted at the BRFAA. During his time as a volunteer in ASF2019 he learned about Science Communication and understood the need of people knowing the role science plays in our everyday lives. Since then he has participated in many SciCo’s projects, biology and chemistry experiments to kids in Researcher’s Night and Technopolis of Athens being some of them.
As of today, Dimitris is a science communication Ambassador in SciCo as well as an article writer on the science communication website sciencebehind.gr. His future plans consist of further studying and working on the Science Communication field.
