Sophia Galanidou

It all started on May Day 1998, when I was born.  From a young age, I had an innate thirst for knowledge about the world, nature, humans and the goal to try my best to help the world become a better place to live in. With the same motivation, several years later, I have reached the end of my studies at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Ioannina, with aspirations towards the field of Clinical and Medical Chemistry. Driven by the desire to help and offer, my great love for volunteering was born, which has radically changed my life:  Communication Coach at TEDxMaviliSquare Ioannina, Head of Communications at the Ioannina Science Festival and positions of Copywriter and Social Media Manager at Epirus Youth Network and Perspective Project Greece, respectively. Today, it is my great pleasure that my heart beats to the rhythms of the Athens Science Festival, with my contribution to it, as Content Manager. Finally, my heart always beat, beats and will beat for my loved ones, whose role is catalytic for every step of my life.
